The limits of chat history
When a chat log or vector search is treated as 'memory', old, superseded, sensitive or unsupported content can return as if it were current fact.
CKPE separates records, assertions, evidence, facts, provenance, temporal validity, confidence, contradiction and supersession. Memory can be challenged, corrected and traced.
Continuity with accountability
The continuity loop turns each interaction into governed work: identity and authority are established, evidence and memory are retrieved, a scene is composed, reasoning is routed, output is validated, and reflection creates reviewable memory candidates.
